Ailse MacFarlane
Managing Director
Ailse was educated at University College Dublin where she achieved a Bachelor of Commerce degree, studying strategy, international marketing, finance, human resource management, business law and economics and a diploma in direct marketing.
Initially working in London for the Prudential Bank, Ailse was part of the launch team for Egg Bank, the first internet bank in the UK launched in 1998. She subsequently worked at Egg for 6 years across different product areas including managing the development and launch of Egg Investments, the 1st online UK investment fund supermarket. Her career then progressed and prospered by relocating to Spain where she worked in several real estate companies with a specific focus on internet marketing and search engine optimisation.
Ailse brings a wealth of experience to the Landcorp team and plays a key role in expanding the company into international markets as well as consolidating its presence in the key European markets.
Michael Lucas
Chief Operating Officer
Michael was born in England and lived in Germany for sixteen years, where he obtained a degree in Economics before working as a corporate controller for the Volkswagen Group. He moved to Spain in 2002 and for the past ten years he has worked in the real estate investment sector. In addition to his native English, Michael speaks fluent German and Spanish.
As Chief Operating Officer of Landcorp International, Michael is responsible for coordinating day-to-day business activities with a particular focus on operations, communications, sales and business development.
Daisy Omissi
Marketing Director
Daisy has 15 years experience working in media and communications, initially as a journalist with the Illustrated London News Group in the UK and then as editor of OK!, Middle East in Dubai, UAE.
Evolving from her journalistic background, she then moved into a PR role handling the account for high-end companies such as Four Seasons Hotels across the Middle East.
Since moving to Marbella, Spain in 2010, she has worked with companies such as Stephen Webster jewellery and Hype Energy drinks working in a marketing capacity to promote their brands primarily through online and social media marketing.
Daisy manages the in-house marketing team and oversees and coordinates all of the marketing activity to include online and email marketing, PR, Social Media networking, the development and updating of all marketing material, internal database marketing and research.
Lucy Brown
Operations Manager
Lucy is in charge of Operations at Landcorp and has been with the company since August 2007. Coming from both a creative and analytical background, she has a BA Hons in Theatre Dance with previous experience in Real Estate, Multi-Media Production and Banking and brings a wide skillset to the company. She has been in Spain for 10 years and speaks fluent Spanish.
Lucy works very closely with all departments of the company to ensure seamless communication internally as well as communications to investors. Her role is integral to helping meet the company’s strategic objectives by managing the day-to-day operational and administration processes, procedures, support services and management reporting systems.
