World-renowned Nicklaus Design team to create Golf Experience at Forest Lakes Country Club, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Nicklaus Design, founded by golf legend Jack Nicklaus, has been appointed by Terra Firma Development Corporation to design a spectacular 18-hole golf course at Forest Lakes Country Club. This golf course will be the first Nicklaus Design golf course in Atlantic Canada.

Nicklaus Design is the world´s leading golf course design firm founded by golf legend Jack Nicklaus and privately owned by the Nicklaus family. It is widely regarded as the world's leading design firm with more than 340 courses open for play in 34 countries and 39 states.

Nicklaus Design employs close to 20 Design Associates worldwide, and their task is to ensure that Jack's vision, philosophy and design directive is implemented at each project. Jack is proud of the designers he has taken under his wing and trained over the last 40 years. To date, at least 22 past and present designers who have supported the work of Nicklaus Design have gone on to earn membership into the prestigious American Society of Golf Course Architects. That number includes nine currently supporting Nicklaus Design services. And perhaps in a clear sign of loyalty, six Design Associates have been with Nicklaus Design for at least 18 years.
